Shanna Ballerina Pattern #415 is a 24" tall soft-sculpture crochet doll pattern.  Shanna comes right off the crochet hook in this natural dancing pose. Shanna is crocheted in rounds with 3-D fingers and crocheted shaping of her calves and thighs. Like Kathleen's Baby Beau pattern, designed from a photo of Fred's father as an infant, Shanna was created from a photo of the real six year old Shanna in this ballet pose. She was the inspiration for a New Jersey gift shop, "Shanna's Showcase" which featured Kathleen's early crochet doll creations and other design items.

Although collector quality, Shanna Ballerina is designed for childsplay. Don't let Shanna's detail fool you, she is a wonderful "favorite friend" or bedtime doll. You can substitute the color of her tutu and hair to match your little tap dancer or aspiring ballerina.
